 Sphero Educator Lending Library

The Sphero Lending Library provides School Districts and  School District Library/Media Resource Centers with an easy way to access robotics and coding tools without purchasing a full set. Educators borrow Sphero robots for a limited time to explore hands-on STEM learning through coding challenges and creative activities. With beginner-friendly apps and both block and text-based programming, learners quickly build problem-solving and computational thinking skills while experimenting with robotics in an engaging, collaborative environment.

Sphero products are provided through the lending library based on eligibility and availability.

Sphero BOLT+ Power Pack

The Sphero BOLT+ is a programmable robotics ball designed to teach coding, STEM, and computational thinking through hands-on learning. Its transparent shell reveals internal components, while an LED matrix allows students to display graphics and data. Using the Sphero Edu app, learners can program BOLT+ with block-based coding, JavaScript, or Python. Built-in sensors such as an accelerometer, gyroscope, and compass enable creative activities, robotics challenges, and real-world problem solving in classrooms and makerspaces.

Sphero RVR+ Class Pack

The Sphero RVR+ Class Pack is a classroom robotics solution designed to teach coding, engineering, and computer science through hands-on learning. It includes multiple RVR+ robots, accessories, and educator guides, allowing students to work in pairs or teams. Using the Sphero Edu app, students can program robots with block coding, JavaScript, or Python. Built-in sensors and expandable hardware enable advanced projects and integration with tools like Raspberry Pi or micro:bit, supporting collaborative STEM learning and real-world problem solving.

Sphero indi Class Pack

The Sphero indi Class Pack is a classroom robotics kit designed for early learners to explore coding and computational thinking through hands-on play. It includes multiple indi robots, color coding tiles, challenge cards, and educator resources for group activities. Students program the robot by placing colored tiles that guide movement through mazes and puzzles. The pack supports collaborative learning, problem-solving, and creativity while introducing sequencing, logic, and basic programming concepts in a fun, accessible way.

Sphero Blueprint SNAP

Blueprint Snap is a hands-on engineering kit designed for students in grades 3–5 to explore basic mechanical engineering concepts. Using 280+ colorful snap-together parts, students build structures and simple machines while learning about motion, force, and design thinking. Challenge cards and lessons guide students through quick builds and problem-solving activities that can be completed in a single class. The screen-free system encourages collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking while introducing the engineering design process in a fun and accessible way.

Sphero Blueprint Engineering Kit
